Come create, serve, and grow together as children of God at the Abiding Hope Fine Arts Camp!

Get ready for tech design challenges, drama, music and everything in between. Fun for grades 4th-8th (incoming grade).

Three crews to choose from:

  • Make a Joyful Noise! (Music Crew – 4th – 8th grade)

Singing: musicians will be singing (get your voice ready!) along with choral-ography (move your body) on the main stage! No experience with reading music is necessary, so no pressure!

Dance: Hey dancers, get your happy feet ready to come dance a few numbers. No dance experience is necessary – we will teach you everything you need to know! Be ready to move and groove!

Puppetry: Have you ever wanted to influence what someone says? Here’s your chance to do just that! Using a variety of tools, puppet masters will be able to bring puppets to life in a new and different way.

  • Never Too Much Drama! (Cast Crew – 4th – 8th grade)

MC: You will be able to explore how to lead into skits and songs, as well as direct the audience’s attention. You get to be the ringleader of the whole circus!

Acting: As an actor you can explore being someone else for a little while. Try on a personality like you try on a hat – AND – be involved in drama in a good way!

  • Lights, Camera, Action! (Tech Crew – 5th – 8th grade)

Set Design: Tech crew members will explore new worlds and how to bring them to life. What once was a flat canvas can now be whatever you imagine it to be! Can’t draw? No problem! We’re here to help – all you need is your imagination!

Sound Engineers: Try your hand at engineering! Just like the real pro’s, tech crew will take on the role of sound engineers to really help bring a production to life! Find out what it takes to ensure a show “sounds” its very best.

Props: Dorothy has her red shoes, Thor has his hammer and Skywalker has his lightsaber. What’s acting without a little backup? As a prop tech, you get the opportunity to think up and create the little pieces that can make a big impact!

Videography: *6-8th grades only* Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to capture the magic on film! You will become a mobile unit, hopping from group to group to compile clips for a final, fantastic video!
