My 4 year old daughter will be going to school next month. I thanked God for the favor because she passed the diagnostic exam for K1. She will be in kindergarten this coming June 11. I also thanked our church mate who referred us to Shekinah Glory Christian Academy. This is the school where my daughter will be studying. It has been our prayer to let our daughter study on a private Christian school.Id like to thank my mom for the love and financial support because she is the one who will pay for my daughter’s tuition fees.

Why we want our daughter to study in a Christian school? Well, we are actually a family who work for the church ministry. Our family are pioneers of our church. My in laws are Pastors while hubby and I are in the church music team. My daughter grew up in a family who serves the Lord. It would be our great joy watching our daughter grow academically and mature in the Lord. It really makes all the effort, all the time and all the money worth it, right?

I also like the fact that Christian values and attitudes are taught and emphasized in this Christian school. Nurturing her with Biblical truth is indeed an excellent way to equip her for maturity. I do believe that by obeying the Biblical guidelines is essential when seeking the best for my daughter as my child learns the Biblical truth for living a balanced Christian life.

In creating a strong family life centered on God, there must be shared time together. The word of God said that “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up” (Deuteronomy 6:5-8). These timeless advice of Moses is the foundation for Biblical spirituality in the home. Time together is the bonding mortar that brings us together before God in live.

For God to be first in our lives, His will must be regularly discussed and applied in our daily home life. What we truly love most of all will show up in our priorities, what we talk about, and how we use our time.To communicate the priority of loving God, we must spend time together. The daily family hour needs to be kept in homes that glorify God. As this becomes part of the family routine to read God’s Word together, you then become more comfortable in discussing the practical, specific applications of Scripture in the home.

It’s my time to open a cell group and my time to grow. I need to win souls and make disciples. That’s what Ive learned from G12′s mission and vision. Its all about being obedient to Jesus’ commission from Matthew 28:19-20 which states that we should go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Many evangelistic efforts and church harvest events are successful in winning souls but the concern of many pastors is how to keep converts in the church so that they can be discipled and grow up to lead others in Christ.

I find the G12 Vision effective in winning large numbers because it engages every single believer in the church in evangelism. It also has a high retention rate because converts are immediately followed up and assimilated into cells. Its discipleship strategy empowers every believer to be a leader, so that many more souls are won and discipled. If God were leading you, He would lead you to do what the Bible says. A Christian is ought to win souls. That is the most important thing with God.

I know that the G12 vision will happen this year of 2012. Win Souls and Make Disciples. It’s time for a harvest! and yes, I’m ready! All for the glory of God!

Jesus wants us to have a sense of purpose so we can fulfill our destiny. You see, we can fill our lives doing good things and things that we are good at, or we can fill our lives doing God things, things that fulfill His purpose and enable us to reach our destinies. If you understand your purpose you will fill your life accomplishing what God has planned and purposed for you. It’s that simple.

God is a God of purpose. If you want to know the purpose of a thing, ask God about it. We are the stewards of the gifts and callings that God has placed in our lives. It is our responsibility to manifest them for His glory and purposes. We cannot successfully determine our own purpose. We must discover it in the Spirit. Let me say it is up to us to press into God, to seek Him and discover what purpose He has for us.

You know, sometimes our dreams are not fulfilled. Sometimes there are delays in the answer to our prayers and our plans are not coming true but God has a purpose in it. When you go through your trials, when you go through your problems, I want you to believe that one of the ways of being happy is to believe that God has a beautiful purpose for your trial, for your problem and for your difficulty.

“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails” ~ Proverbs 19:21

I recently read an article taken from a Daily Guide for Joyful Living by Sally Dyck and I totally agree what she wrote about why sometimes we feel the presence of God and sometimes we don’t. As a Christian, when we can sense and feel it, we know that the presence of God is here. We touch, feel, perceive, sense and notice God around and within us.

When you have a passionate faith where you deeply sense God’s presence, you can jump around, raise your hands, shout out loud and cry a lot every time you feel His presence.

But why is it that sometimes we feel the presence of God and sometimes we don’t? Why is it that some people seemingly sense God’s presence in their lives more readily than others?

We have a way of knowing God’s presence through our mind, our senses, our feelings, and our intuition. Experiencing the passionate presence of God means that we seek to sense, notice and perceive God around us such as going to church, reading the Bible, and praying. In that way, we may begin to sense God’s presence in anything or anywhere.

As for me, I’m giving my everyday ordinary life as an offering to God so that God will meet me where I’m at whether or not it’s a place I would expect to see or experience God. I know God will transform the way I see the world around me, my friends and family as well as strangers, my work and my daily tasks of life.

We had an awesome praise and worship yesterday in our church. The spirit of God was moving even before we started singing praises to Him. Being in the music team and being the worship leader, it is really an effective way that we should be soaking in His presence first before we will usher His presence to the congregation.

Being in the presence of the Lord is considered the single most important part of our lives. While in a sense, it is always with us and we cannot live without it, we find ourselves hungering for it more and more.

Practicing His presence through worship is one of the most valuable things we can do. God has promised that as we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us and we will experience His presence in ever increasing measures. The Holy Spirit will speak things to our heart in times of soaking as it also saturate, infuse and drench ourselves in the presence of God as we praise and worship Him.

I was reading some passages from the Bible online today and I came across this website about worship which is designed to anyone who wants to use music and words to magnify God. I can totally relate myself to his blog post because as a worship leader and a blogger, I just don’t write articles in order to get paid from blogging and earn money from it but I also want to share God’s Word through my blog that’s why I created this blog.

I actually manage 20 blogs with different niches. Most of them are money earning blogs but this one is totally different from the rest of my blogs. This is my Christian inspirational blog were I write my thoughts, my experiences and my life being a Christian. I usually share my thoughts on worship and music and also recommend resources that have helped me gain a more biblical understanding. I love to worship to extend beyond singing in order to influence my readers thought, word and action.

If you’re one of my avid reader and follower of this blog, I pray that this blog will encourage you. If you grow in your understanding of worship and music that will be great. But my real hope is that you’ll see more clearly that the only life worth living is the one that magnifies God’s supreme worth and the grace that is only found in Jesus Christ.

So, if you’re a worship leader, Pastor, Christian musician, or simply a follower of Jesus Christ who wants to deepen your love for the Lord, I hope you’ll find this blog helpful. Thanks for reading and God bless you abundantly!

There are occasions when God wants to show His wrath and to make known on His power. That’s what we have experienced when our city got hit by typhoon a month ago. The devastation ruined many lives, properties and belongings.

When my family and I was at the rooftop, I have seen and heard many people screaming, crying and calling for help. In the middle of the flood, we prayed and asked God for help. I know that God is in control of everything so I was not scared or worried about it. The song “STILL” from the Hillsong suddenly popped up in my mind and we sang this song and worship God during the storm.

God is in complete control when His people are being persecuted. God controls all things, working out everything in conformity with the plan and purpose of His own will.We do not expect to understand fully the purpose for our trials until our Lord calls us home to be with Him. But we do know that He loves us too much to harm us, and that He is far more concerned with our welfare than we are. God’s choices are always right.

Nothing in this universe happens by chance or accident. For every effect there is a cause. God works all things after the counsel of His own will…that we should give praise for his glory.
