Committed to welcoming guests and members, to bring them into full participation in a faith community of life-giving relationships with Jesus and each other.
The Hospitality Team connects people by making them feel welcomed as they enter Abiding Hope. They do this by greeting attendees with a warm handshake and showing they’re welcome by offering words of humor, hospitality and enthusiasm. Members of this team are stationed outside all entrance doors into the church and the Discipleship Training Center for weekly services and major congregational events.
Women’s Book Study
The Women’s Book Study typically reads one book per month together. They then meet once a month to discuss the book and fellowship.
“He that loves a book will never want a faithful friend, a wholesome counselor, a cheerful companion, an effectual comforter. By study, by reading, by thinking, one may innocently divert and pleasantly entertain himself, as in all weathers, as in all fortunes.” – Barrow
Life Connection Groups
Life Connection Groups are a key part of our life together. They provide a place where you can connect with others, build new relationships, grow in faith, support and encourage one another and reach out in service to others. Most people desire community, but very few experience it. At Abiding Hope, we believe that one of the best ways to experience community is by participation in a Life Connection Group.
