God is in Control of Everything

There are occasions when God wants to show His wrath and to make known on His power. That’s what we have experienced when our city got hit by typhoon a month ago. The devastation ruined many lives, properties and belongings.

When my family and I was at the rooftop, I have seen and heard many people screaming, crying and calling for help. In the middle of the flood, we prayed and asked God for help. I know that God is in control of everything so I was not scared or worried about it. The song “STILL” from the Hillsong suddenly popped up in my mind and we sang this song and worship God during the storm.

God is in complete control when His people are being persecuted. God controls all things, working out everything in conformity with the plan and purpose of His own will.We do not expect to understand fully the purpose for our trials until our Lord calls us home to be with Him. But we do know that He loves us too much to harm us, and that He is far more concerned with our welfare than we are. God’s choices are always right.

Nothing in this universe happens by chance or accident. For every effect there is a cause. God works all things after the counsel of His own will…that we should give praise for his glory.

Relying on God

We do rely a lot on technology, don’t we? From satellite navigation systems, computers to gadgets like Ipad, Iphone and so much more! We have become more and more dependent upon our world of technology. It is important, though, that we step back every now and then and remind ourselves, “We can survive without all these gadgets, but we cannot survive without God.”

In Psalm 20:7, David expressed it this way: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” Chariots and horses were certainly not wrong; no more so than modern gadgets. But it was necessary to reinforce the truth that our faith in not in such things, but in God Almighty.

My Greatest Inspiration

Since I became a Born Again Christian a few years ago, my life was completely changed, renewed and I am filled with God’s spirit and blessings. And it is all because of my hubby who is used by God as an instrument in helping me changed my way of life and made me became a true believer and a follower of Christ.

My hubby’s family helped me and mold me in becoming a true Christian. I am so thankful to God that I had found a good family who devoted their life completely on Jesus Christ. Their family was the pioneering of our church. All their time and effort they give it all to the church. My mother in law was our Senior Pastor but she died a few months ago and she was replaced by my brother in law who is the Youth Pastor of our church.

I am really inspired by their family since they are a Family of Musicians. My mother in law was used to be the song leader, my father in law was the bassist, my brother in law was the drummer and my hubby was the lead / rhythm guitarist.

When I became part of their family, I became the Praise and Worship leader of our church. I am so thankful to God because He had given me this anointing and talent to usher and welcome his Holy Spirit. I am not just performing in front of many people but I am using my talent to glorify God.

My hubby is the lead guitarist and at the same time the music director of our Church Music Team. I am also blessed with my daughter’s talent because at her very young age, she is now showing her talent and skills in playing the drums. I know she will develop this talent when she grows up and she will also continue doing God’s work just like her parents.

It is truly a Blessing and Honor for us like what the scripture in the Bible says in Joshua 24:15 that “As For Me and My House, We Will Serve The Lord” and it is definitely what we are doing now. Me and my Greatest Inspiration which is my family are very much happy in serving the Lord with all our hearts.

A God-Centered Family is a Happy Family

I remember way back a few years ago when my boyfriend who is now my hubby were still lovers and for almost 5 years of dating we finally decided to get married. We have been married for 6 years already and we greatly thanked God for our happy and harmonious marriage. We are even more thankful to God for giving us our one and only precious daughter, Sydelle who is now 4 years old.

I feel so happy and blessed because God had given me a perfect family.

A family that is not only God-fearing but is also serving the Lord. Hubby and I are leading the music team of our church. I am the Worship leader while my hubby is the guitarist.Our daughter also loves to imitate and follow our actions. She loves to sing, play drums and the keyboard as well. I am glad that at her early age, she already has the passion in playing musical instruments and she already knows that this is all for Jesus. ^_^

What more could I ask for? Well, I am already happy and contented with my life right now. God has showed us great and mighty things more than we could ever think and imagine. I thanked the Lord because we are highly favored by Him. We are a God-centered family and indeed we are a happy family!

I’m the Singer while My Hubby’s the Guitarist

Well yes it is. This is our life as a member of the music ministry . I am actually the song leader of our church. As the worship leader, I am the one who will choose the song for our Praise and Worship service every Sunday. Sometimes I find it hard to choose what song we will have to play and sing with since we have to fit it for the whole congregation where all the members can familiarize the song. But we have to choose a new song so that not all old songs will be played every week.

I am always looking for a new Christian Songs here in the internet or in Youtube every week and I have to show it first to my fellow music team members if they will agree on the certain song that I chose.

Every Saturday, we have our music team’s practice and we will do a “sepra” on the new song that we have to play. We always bring our MP4 player so we can hear the original tune of the song and it is easier for us to follow what kind of chords that certain song are using. But often times, we don’t follow the original because they will follow my keys since I don’t have a very high pitch voice and I am usually using the key of D and G.

My hubby is the guitarist of our church. He is also the trainer who teaches of all our fellow music team who plays the base guitar, the drums, keyboard and the acoustic guitar.His job is actually hard since he had to teach all of them specially when we practice a new song and tune. However, he easily manages it because our fellow team members are cooperative and willing enough to know how to play the song.

I can easily memorize the lyrics and tune of the song too so it is easier for my hubby to play a certain new song since he already knows my key. We can make a good tune and melody together. I am so thankful to God for that talent He had given us. And in return, we are using our talent to usher His Holy Presence and to glorify His Holy Name.

Our Church Activities

We do have lots of activities from our church. One of them is we have a family day every last week of the month. We bring our own foods and we gather them together so all of us could share each other. Its really such a great family bonding!

We have our weekly Bible study and feeding for kids

And we also have Bible study and music practice for our young people since most of them loves to play the music instruments and wants to become a part of our music team.

We thanked God for the strength, the wisdom and the favor that He had given us so we could still continue to do His works by spreading His words and helping these people to have a closer relationship with Him. All the Glory and Honor in Christ Jesus!

Blessings Received and Shared To Others

I just can’t express my happiness and I am so thankful to God for all the good things He has done in my life. I started my new year with lots of prizes and surprises received from online contests and give aways, including my free additional blogs and even lots of surprises that I received from my family and friends.

Starting off from the recent contest where I won a digital camera. I thanked God for this wonderful blessings He had given me. I have been blessed of having the material things that I need and desired with. Since I already have 2 digital cameras with me, I decided to give the other one to our young Pastor because he needs it for their weekly Youth Fellowship for the Campus Ministry.

A month ago, with God’s favor and grace, our church bought an LCD projector for such a low price. And since it needs a laptop so that we can place the songs we need for our Praise and Worship Service, I donated my old laptop so we can used it every Sunday for our Divine Service.

I remember a year ago when I also joined a blog contest from Yousaytoo where I received $500 because the admin and the staff of the site was touched by my purpose since I want to donate it for our church so we can buy an additional musical instruments. I actually did not won the contest but Yousaytoo was so kind and generous enough because they grant my heart’s desire.

You know guys I am not just blogging for the sake of money but I am also blogging for a purpose. I have this heart of compassion in helping people specially to those who needs help. It could be financially, materially and spiritually. It is my joy of giving back what is more than enough for me that’s why when I received an extra blessings, I love to share and give it to others specially when its for God’s work and purpose. ^_^

I’m Forever Grateful to the Lord

Hi Friends!

I would like to welcome you all to my Inspirational Christian Blog. I greatly thanked God for this blog because this domain was freely given by Mommy Nita Thomas. This domain name was actually reserved by Mommy Rubz but when she knew that I wanted to make a new Christian blog, she decided to gave this domain for me. It was indeed a great favor from the Lord where I could make a blog about my Christian life.

This blog will talk about my life’s journey on how my life was changed when I came to know Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and personal Savior. It will also show how I live my new life with Him and how God has blessed me and my whole family as well.

It’s all about my life being a Born Again Christian and how I am devoted to Him being one of the workers of the Church ministry that God has entrusted to us. I am proud to be a Born Again Christian, a Jesus Freak and I am Forever Grateful to Him for all the things that He has done in my life.
