Feeding Program for Children

Our church recently had an outreach program where we fed children here in our neighborhood. We call it a “Night of Hope”  where we had a concert crusade aside from children’s feeding. Our aim to help people find their destiny in Jesus Christ. We thanked God that the parents of this children accepted  Jesus Christ  as their Lord and personal savior. These children was also saved as they received Jesus as their savior too.

Getting to know more about Jesus is our main goal why we have our outreaches from our church ministry.  We want to encourage everyone specially those who are astray and hopeless that there are still hope and bright future in their life because Jesus is always there to carry their burdens. He is our hope and He is all that we need. Thanked God for the life of these children who are willing to listen on the good news about Jesus through Bible stories.

We will continue to have our feeding program providing Bible stories, games  as well as to teach hygiene and other practical topics appropriate for this remote area here in our place. We want to build relationship with everyone involved in the ministry including their parents. If we can engage the parents and begin to see changes in them, then children’s lives are changed as well. We’re all about seeing lives changed… for God’s Glory!

Children, A Blessing from God

Children are a blessing sent from God above
For us to care and nurture and most of all to love.
God calls us to be parents and provides us with the tools
And when we feel like giving up, our strength He will renew.

Children are a gift from God that He so freely lends
To make it through the childhood years, on Him we must depend.
He must have a presence, you see it must take three
The parents, child and Christ to be a family.

From childhood days to a child full grown
Their joys and hurts are a parent’s own.
Times of joy and laughter and those times of tears
The times spent raising children are surely the best of years.

There comes that time in life when a child will leave the nest
We must send them off with love and trust God with the rest.
We’ve shared the Word of God,

we’ve taught them right from wrong.
Now it’s time to let them go and let them write their song.

The faith instilled, the examples lived, and the lessons taught
All gifts that we have given our child, will never be forgot.
So many paths that they can take,

right or wrong remains unknown
But rest assured that in the end, they all lead back to home.
